You Don't Need to Know What's Wrong Before You Visit
Many people delay seeking care because they aren't sure what's causing their symptoms. You may know you have a persistent cough, stomach pain, a painful injury, or a red, irritated eye, but not the underlying reason.
That's where we can help.
Our physician-led team takes the time to understand your symptoms, perform a thorough examination, and recommend diagnostic testing when appropriate.
From there, we develop a personalized treatment plan based on your diagnosis, explain what to expect during recovery, and recommend follow-up care whenever it's needed.
Conditions We Commonly Treat
At Urgent Care & Wellness Center, we provide care for a broad range of acute illnesses, injuries, and health concerns. Below are some of the common conditions we evaluate and treat.
Abdominal and pelvic pain can have many possible causes, ranging from digestive and urinary conditions to other underlying medical concerns. We evaluate your symptoms, offer on-site diagnostic testing, and develop a treatment plan based on the cause of your pain.
Food poisoning can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, and dehydration. Our providers assess the severity of your symptoms, provide treatment to help you recover safely, and determine whether additional testing or care is needed.
Mild to moderate asthma flare-ups can worsen quickly without treatment. We evaluate breathing symptoms, provide nebulizer therapy when needed, and help determine whether your symptoms can be safely managed in urgent care.
Seasonal allergies, ear pain, and eye irritation often share similar symptoms but may require different treatments. We care for a wide range of allergy, ear, and eye conditions, helping relieve symptoms while treating the underlying cause.
Living with a chronic medical condition sometimes means needing prompt care when new symptoms, illnesses, or flare-ups develop. We provide treatment for many acute concerns while helping coordinate appropriate follow-up with your primary care provider or specialist.
Falls, sports injuries, and accidents can result in fractures that require prompt medical attention. With on-site digital X-rays, splinting, and orthopedic referrals when needed, we provide timely care for many bone injuries.
Cuts, sprains, and muscle strains are common injuries that can happen during everyday activities, sports, or work. We provide wound care, stitches when appropriate, treatment for soft tissue injuries, and recovery guidance to help you heal safely and return to your normal activities.
When Should You Choose Urgent Care?
Urgent care is often the right choice when your symptoms need prompt medical attention but aren't life-threatening. It can also be a convenient option when your primary care provider isn't available or you need care outside of regular office hours.
Consider visiting Urgent Care & Wellness Center if you have:
- An illness or injury that needs medical attention today
- Symptoms that aren't improving with home care
- A minor injury that may require X-rays, splinting, or wound care
- A condition that requires diagnostic testing or prompt treatment
- New or worsening symptoms that can't wait for your next primary care appointment
If your condition requires emergency medical treatment or specialty care, we'll explain our findings and help guide you to the most appropriate level of care.
When Should You Go to the Emergency Room?
While urgent care can treat many non-emergency conditions, some symptoms require immediate hospital-based care.
Go directly to the nearest emergency room or call 911 if you experience:
Chest pain or pressure
Sudden weakness, numbness, or difficulty speaking
Severe difficulty breathing
Heavy or uncontrolled bleeding
Major trauma or suspected spinal injuries
Loss of consciousness
Any rapidly worsening or life-threatening symptoms
If your employer requires additional evaluations or testing, we'll discuss those requirements with you during your visit.
